Why you get WebP files
WebP is a modern image format that many websites use because the files are small. Some older apps, forms and email tools still do not accept it, which is why a JPG copy is useful.
Convert in four steps
- Open the WebP to JPG converter.
- Choose your WebP files, or drop them into the box. You can pick several at once.
- Pick a quality level. High keeps the picture closest to the original.
- Download each JPG.
The conversion runs in your browser, so your pictures are not uploaded anywhere.
Things to know
- Transparency: JPG cannot store it, so transparent areas turn white.
- Quality: JPG is lossy, so choose High if the image matters.
- File size: If the JPG is still too big for a form, use our guide to reducing image size in KB.
