Step 1: Make the correctly sized photo
Take a plain-background photo, then crop it with the right maker: US, UK, Canada, Australia or another country.
Step 2: Put several copies on one sheet
Use the print sheet maker. It fills a 6 × 4 inch (4 × 6 inch) sheet with copies of your photo, which is the size every photo printer offers.
Option A: Print at a photo shop or store
Many pharmacies and large retailers print 4 × 6 inch photos in minutes. Upload the sheet, order a 4 × 6 print, and cut the copies out. Ask for no automatic cropping or resizing.
Option B: Print at home
Use glossy photo paper, choose 100 percent or "actual size" in the print dialog, and never "fit to page". Cut along the grey borders with a sharp paper cutter. More tips: printing passport photos at home.
Check before you cut
Measure one printed photo with a ruler. If it is not the right size, the printer scaled it, so print again at actual size.
Do you need a print at all?
Many applications now take a digital photo. Check the official page for your country before you spend money on prints.
