Why a transparent signature
A transparent PNG lets you place your signature on a contract, form or PDF without a white box around it.
Sign and photograph
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, ideally a black marker or gel pen. Photograph it in daylight, straight on, with no shadows across the page.
Crop tightly
Use the cropper to remove empty paper and any edges of the table.
Remove the background
Open the signature background remover, choose the cropped photo, keep Transparent and download the PNG. It runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
If a form wants a small file
Many forms accept only JPG with a size limit. Use the white-background option and then the 20KB or 50KB compressor instead of a transparent PNG.
Check the result
Zoom in. Thin pen strokes can look slightly faded, so a darker pen and a sharper photo give a cleaner signature.
